Youth Empowered for Success, INC offers youth service-learning experience within the agency to explore what it’s like to be active in the community. We promote citizenship and partner with other agency to help involve our youth.

Service Learning: to help an individual understand a topic they are learning about in class with hands-on experience.
Volunteering: to serve a community or organization in efforts to get better results in their mission

In the states of Maryland students are required to complete a minimum of 75 hours of service-learning during their time in school.

PREPARATION to make meaningful contributions in response to recognized community needs.
Step 2
ACTION to achieve curricular objectives, and develop responsibility.
Step 3
REFLECTION to consider the impact of the action and what was learned.
Quality service-learning experiences result in the strengthening of character, development of new skills, exploration of careers, and an expanded sense of community.
